Daily Briefing

Imagine waking up every morning to a personalized briefing waiting on your phone -- that is exactly what Karma One's Daily Briefing feature delivers.

What Is the Daily Briefing?

The Daily Briefing is a personalized morning report generated automatically by Karma AI. Unlike generic news subscriptions, it is tailored entirely to your interests and personal context. Think of it as having a dedicated information concierge who curates the day's most important updates just for you.

Each briefing can include:

  • Latest developments in your areas of interest
  • Today's weather and clothing suggestions
  • Your calendar and task reminders
  • Stock market updates for your watchlist
  • Any custom information modules you define

Core philosophy: The goal is not to show you more news -- it is to help you understand the most important things in the shortest time possible.

6 Data Sources

The Daily Briefing aggregates information across six dimensions:

1. News and Industry Updates

AI searches for the latest news in your focus areas, filters out noise, and keeps only what truly matters.

  • Industry developments and trends
  • News about companies you follow
  • Policy and regulatory changes
  • Major global events

2. Weather

  • Today's weather and temperature range
  • Multi-day forecast trends
  • Clothing and commute suggestions
  • Severe weather alerts

3. Market Data

If you follow financial markets:

  • Previous day's closing prices for your watchlist
  • Notable price movements and alerts
  • Overall market trend overview

4. Calendar

Automatically reads your schedule for the day:

  • Meetings and events
  • Important deadlines
  • Items requiring advance preparation

5. Task Reminders

  • Tasks due today
  • Items needing follow-up
  • Status of scheduled automations

6. Custom Content

You can add any custom information needs, such as:

  • Keyword-based news monitoring
  • Competitor activity tracking
  • Industry report updates
  • Currency exchange rates or cryptocurrency prices

Setup Steps

Step 1: Enable the Daily Briefing

In your Avatar conversation, tell the AI you want to enable the Daily Briefing:

Enable the daily briefing feature for me.

Or be more specific about what you want:

I'd like a morning briefing every day covering tech news, weather,
and my calendar schedule.

Step 2: Define Your Focus Areas

Tell the AI what you care about:

I'm mainly interested in:
1. Advances in AI and large language models
2. News about Apple and Tesla
3. Weather in San Francisco
4. US stock market overview (S&P 500, NASDAQ)

Step 3: Set the Delivery Time

Send it to me every morning at 7:30 AM.

The AI will confirm the configuration and create the scheduled task.

Delivery Time Options

You can flexibly configure when the briefing is delivered:

| Configuration | Example | |--------------|---------| | Specific time | "Every morning at 7:30" | | Weekdays only | "Weekday mornings at 8 AM" | | Every day | "Every morning at 7 AM, including weekends" |

Tip: Set it for about 10-15 minutes after you typically wake up, so it is ready and waiting when you check your phone.

Delivery Channels

The Daily Briefing supports two delivery channels:

Karma App

  • Displayed directly in the Avatar's conversation
  • Also triggers a system push notification
  • Open the app to view the full briefing

Telegram

  • Automatically pushed to your linked Telegram account
  • Receive it even without opening the Karma App
  • Read the briefing directly in Telegram

Recommended: Linking Telegram ensures the highest delivery rate. Even if you forget to open the app, you will not miss important information.

Customizing Your Focus Areas

You can adjust the Daily Briefing's focus areas at any time through natural language:

Add a topic

Starting tomorrow, include Bitcoin price trends in my briefing.

Shift emphasis

I'm preparing for a fundraise -- include more venture capital and
startup funding news in the briefing.

Remove a topic

I no longer need stock market data -- remove it from the briefing.

Adjust detail level

Keep the weather section brief. The news section can be more detailed.
